These were rotocast (hollow) & limited to only 12 pieces.

MJ's first Mammoth Monster was for Super 7's "Toxic Catalyst" art show (Fall 2010) in San Fransico, CA. This particular version was sold UV resistant urethane w/ detachable magnetic tentacle & claw!

Services for Grace Chance will be Monday, January 16, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the New Hope Assembly of God Church 6800 Townsend Ave, Urbandale. Interment will be at the Chapel Hill Gardens Cemetery, Merle Hay Road. Family will receive friends Sunday from 1:30 until 4:30 p.m. at the New Assembly of God Church. In Lieu of Flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. Condolences for the family may be left at pierschbacher funeral home.

Grace May Chance was born December 22, 1997 in Grinnell, Iowa and passed away at the age of 14, January 12, 2012. She was a student at Urbandale Middle School active in sports, swing choir, and band. She loved her classes and looked forward to maybe one day being a marine biologist. Grace was a blessing to everyone who knew her. Everyone will remember her kind heart, quick wit, great sense of humor, and contagious smile.

Grace will be missed by her parents: Jay and Shelly; sister and best friend, Sarah; grandparents: Carol Chance & Bill Fuller of Rockport, TX, Galen & Lola Plumb of Melcher, and Marge Hawn and Barb Plumb of Ankeny; aunt: Sherry & Clint Franklin; uncles: Mark Plumb and Shane Wright; many cousins, and friends. Her grandfather, Jerry Chance, preceded her in death.

If anyone makes a donation to St. Jude's all I ask is that you make it in Memory of Grace Chance and please send the announcement to her Father Jay Chance or her Mother Shelly Chance.

So of course the temptation to infect the Armorvor w/ the "Infection" was too great...So I sculpted this double-sided Fly/Bee head. There are a few more fine details/tweaks left and then I am trying to determine if I want to sculpt the long Bee antenna down the insides of his eyes (like the Bio Jumper Eidrallim/Cricket I sculpted a few months ago).

This particular Repoclaimer Soldier is neon green gitd (glow in the dark) w/ Wolf Voigt's thermal black additive from his site: SOLARCOLORDUST

Here you can see it solid black in room temp, gradually color changing w/ heat till it is neon green (sorry no photos of the gitd green). Then after it was warm, I took it outside 35F and it quickly started to turn black in reverse.

ONELL DESIGN X THEGODBEAST Glyos Repoclaimer Soldier sculpt!!!

Ok, so ever since Matt Doughty/Onell Design posted photos of his massive "Repoclaimer," I have been working back & forth w/ Matt to develop a "Traveler" sized "Repoclaimer Soldier" w/ him.

Much of the changes during our back & forth collaboration were to the massive arms, getting them just right. Matt is a genius with the added creation of a pressure plate revealing a brain!

This is a 6 pcs. sculpt which I plan on molding after Thanksgiving. Production won't start until the beginning of December.

As you scroll down these photos you will see the sculpt as it progressed from the beginning sculpt in the last 4 photos up to the top 7 photos which are the final sculpt.

Final Glyos Repoclaimer Soldier sculpt (next 7 photos).

The only other change not shown in these photos are the straight back photo...I built up & added a define line to the tail end in-between the 2 small legs (a U/V form).

Well, after countless weeks of little sleep sculpting, molding, casting, clean up, assembling, and finally packaging...here are some of the packaged Bio Jumpers & Finkerbots ready to ship.

I still have several other Bio Jumper clear colorways to finish up along w/ a handful of NYCC preview Finkerbots. Hopefully I can get plenty of extras ready to bring out to NYCC in Oct. (once the current orders are filled).

The clock is running down until NYCC & I hope the TGB machine has enough fuel left in his tank... ;)

So during a long long drive through the Badlands, Black Hills, and Devil's Tower this summer...I did a sketch of the Kabuto Mushi DX sculpt. Here is the finished sketch, but, a little off from the ride. ;)

Here are a few shots of the sculpt as I have went back and forth w/ ideas. Still not sure where I will end up on this one...a DX Kabuto Mushi or a DX Kuwagata Mushi...I like the Kabuto Mushi large horns, but, I also like the Kuwagata Mushi large mandibles.

I will be molding these 3 new Glyos Bio Jumpers this week. Then I will start casting over the weekend into next week. The Dragonfly's wings will be molded separately in crystal clear urethane w/ iridescent additive. All 3 of these new Bio Jumpers will have different colored eyes inserted into the eye sockets after the pulls. Collectors will be able to heat up the Jumpers w/ a hair dryer until they are ultra hot and then pose the legs on the Dragonfly or custom fit the Jumpers on different Glyos character heads. Even the wings of the Dragonfly will be able to be curled/bent or angled into any direction desired by the collector! This DX III Bio Jumper 3 pack will be $50 + $6 Domestic USPS Priority shipping w/ DC #.

Thanx 2 Wolf Voigt of www.solarcolordust.com I sampled his newest killer product "Ultra Thermal-Dust!" These 2 of the 4 colors I sampled (other 2 colorways I will post later) are incredible!

I used his purple to magenta and his green to yellow Ultra Thermal-Dusts. The purple to magenta mimic G1 colored Muscle's Purple and Magenta almost perfect!!! My camera makes the magenta look more pink, but, it is truly magenta and even the purple looks lighter from my flash than the actual purple these are. INCREDIBLY FAST color change too!

So about a year ago, an artist w/ the most drive I have seen in a long while emailed me about the totally obscure toyline "Rocks Bugs & Things" by Ideal in the 80's.

Leo started doing the most INCREDIBLE GIANT original Mordle sculpts ever! He asked many questions about molding/casting & then sought out some of the many internet tutorials on molding & casting large sculpts. The end result was a SUPER KEWL VIDEO he made while producing these giant foam flex Mordles.

2day the USPS person rang my doorbell & handed me this package...my sons & I opened it, totally FREAKING OUT! Inside the box was this totally OUTRAGEOUS Mordle Monstrosity!

Now MJ & Kobe are arguing over which 1 of them gets 2 put this bad-boy in2 their collection...

I had 2 take the opportunity 2 snap a few quick photos of him w/ the new Glyos Mutants & of course an extra special Glyos Pheyden...ENJOY!

Kansas City Planet Comic Con & new sculpt photos

March 26th & 27th Jason Frailey & Joe Song asked me 2 set up & chill w/ them in their booth @ Kansas City Planet Comic Con. Jason & I decided 2 drop 2 all new sculpts there!

1 set of arms have the Glyos joint system & are compatible!

We also brought the handful left of Missfit Mels from their inaugural drop @ C2E2 the prior weekend. Only 12 were produced and each is hand signed & #'d on the bottoms of their feet. Snag one of these last 1st series cutties b4 they are all gobbled up. $90 ea. + shipping. This creepy little fellow reminds me of Phantasm's transdimensional dwarves, oh & evil jawas of course. Only 7 have been made available 2 collectors 4 a mere $35 each. March must be the month for excessive road trips...

My good friend Jason Frailey (ClawShine sculptor) and his friend Joe asked me to join them at Kansas City Planet Comic Con this weekend in KC. This will be my first time set up in an artist alley, but, since it is a chance to hang out w/ all my KC crew 2 weekends in a row & I still have some goodies left from C2E2 still all packed up...what the heck.

Adrienne Smith (freelance sculptor for NECA & Hallmark) & Jason Frailey (freelance sculptor for NECA) officially dropped their new sculpts for sale last weekend while in the NERD CITY booth @ C2E2 2011.

Here is another chance this weekend for collectors to get some incredible limited new pieces from my friends...

Miss-fit Mel sculpted, painted, & package designed by Adrienne Smith. Molded & cast by Adam Smith Studios. This 1st release is limited 2 only 12 pieces (hand signed & #'d). $90 ea. + shipping.

Grumpy Dumpty sculpted, molded, & cast by Jason Frailey. $30 ea. + shipping per egg. $50 ea. + shipping per egg w/ arms & body. Limited supplies right now and not sure what official limited colorways we will run.
